There are two categories of people – those that send food gifts and those that look at me like I am crazy when I tell them I send food gifts. I swear there is an entire subgroup of people who did not get the memo that delicious, fresh, beautifully packaged foods can be shipped anywhere in the United States and beyond. So, for those doubters out there, here are my Top 5 Reasons to Send Food Gifts:
.) Everyone likes food. I have never met a person who said, “Gee, I really hope I don’t get food this year for Christmas.” I have, however, met several people that said, “If I get another candle or picture frame, I am going to lose my mind.”
.) It is a way to support local business. There are so many chefs and bakers throughout this country who are using the internet to expand their food businesses. Pick a town you have a connection to and send a gift from a foodtrepreneur in that town. It’s fun, and you are doing a really good deed in the process.
.) It is like giving two gifts in one. What I mean is that people will recieve the food gift and be very happy they got a gift (most people like getting gifts.) Then, they get to eat it later and enjoy it all over again.
.) The choices are limitless. There are hundreds and hundreds of choices. From cake pops to pickles and lobsters to popcorn, the internet has something for every person and every occasion.
.) Last but not least – no mall! That is reason enough to shop on www.goodiesforgifts.com and leave the crowds and germs for other people.
